So Friday after I spread the hay out in the yard and did a few other things around the house Justin, Jayden and I went furniture shopping... Shopping with an almost two year old is such a fun experience, if you haven't done it I suggest you do it! By the time you get done you will want to either pull your hair out or jump off a bridge. Lol... Anyways so we went out looking for furniture and I already knew what I was getting when I went into the store cause I had window shopped online for about a week looking at all the different choices in our price range. So we went back to the selection I had made online and looked at it discussing if we wanted just the couch and chair or couch and love seat. Okay so my dilemma was that the only floor register in our living room is by the window, as shown in the picture below!
So in order to have a couch and a love seat we would have to, A) cover the vent up or B) have the love seat about two - four inches away from the register so air could flow.. Both of the options seemed a little silly and would also either make our living room hot during summer or cold during winter, so the love seat was not an option at this point. So we decided to get a chair and a couch. Now the couch that I had shopped online and was determined to buy Justin liked the couch but not the blue colored chair that was in the set, so we just decided to look around while are child went a little crazy in the store. That is when I stumbled upon the greatest couch and chair set I have ever seen...
This is the couch, we had to choose from this color, that blue color and a red. We choose of course this buttercream color. I love how big and comfy it is, and for the price you can't beat it.
And this chair
Which must I add this is an oversized chair and it is awesome!!!! This chair is a little smaller than a love seat but it will fit perfectly in our living room... It comes with all six pillows two for the chair and four for the couch. And we got it sprayed with stain guard and with delivery it all came out right under $1,000. Which is perfect for the budget I put us on. Now I just can't wait till Thursday when it is delivered... Our old sectional couch went upstairs in the loft. (I need to find someone with a sewing machine so that I can make some kind of cover for it since Jayden ruined it when she was a baby.. Next project is going to be getting rest of my blinds up and doing some flower planting... :)
